Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by handling various tasks related to shipping, receiving, and inventory management. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to operate heavy equipment safely.
Duties
- Perform shipping and receiving tasks, ensuring accurate documentation and inventory control.
- Load and unload materials and products from trucks and containers.
- Utilize a Warehouse Management System (WMS) for tracking inventory levels and managing stock.
- Operate heavy equipment such as cranes and order pickers safely and efficiently.
- Maintain organization within the warehouse by properly storing products and keeping work areas clean.
- Assist in order picking processes to fulfill customer orders accurately and promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of warehouse operations.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any mechanical issues.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations is preferred.
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Mechanical knowledge and experience operating heavy equipment are advantageous.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy items (up to 50 pounds).
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards.
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed based on operational requirements.
