- Roles & Responsibilities To support overall milling operations through the efficient handling, piling, and preparation of timber and lumber products. Responsibilities include:
- Piling timbers, dimensional lumber, and slabs safely and accurately.
Shift
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM (9-hour shifts)
Pay & Compensation
- Base Rate: $18.25 per hour
- Overtime: 1 hour of daily overtime guaranteed per standard shift (paid at 1.5x base rate for hours worked over 8 per day).
- Production Bonus: Opportunities to earn an additional $0.00 to $25.00 daily based on mill production targets.
Reporting Structure Reports directly to Mill Supervisors:
- General Manager: John Drew
- Operations/Sales & Shipping Manager: Allen Brown
Requirements
- Strong physical condition and the ability to perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Reliable transportation and a strong work ethic with a history of good attendance.
- Solid verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work safely and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Performing daily cleanup of work areas and assisting with general mill maintenance.
- Sorting, grading, packaging, and tallying inventory as directed.
