Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging music lessons for students
- Instruct students on music theory, history, and performance techniques
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Organize and supervise music-related activities and events
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to enhance the overall educational experience
- Provide feedback to students and parents on progress and areas for improvement
Qualifications
- Experience working with children in a classroom setting
- Proficiency in tutoring or teaching music concepts
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles
- Ability to educate and inspire students of all skill levels
- Basic cooking skills for activities involving music and food
- Classroom management skills to ensure a productive learning environment
Job Type: Fixed term contract
Pay: $27.00-$32.00 per hour
Experience:
- teaching drums or guitar: 1 year (preferred)
- teaching music: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- music courses (preferred)
