Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Acupuncturist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about patient care and possess a comprehensive understanding of acupuncture techniques and pain management strategies. This role involves assessing patients' needs, developing treatment plans, and providing high-quality acupuncture services to promote overall wellness.
Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual treatment needs.
- Develop personalized acupuncture treatment plans based on patient evaluations.
- Administer acupuncture treatments using appropriate techniques, including trigger point therapy.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary for optimal outcomes.
- Provide education to patients regarding their conditions and the benefits of acupuncture.
- Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment details.
- Ensure adherence to aseptic techniques during treatments to maintain a safe environment.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
Experience
- CPR Certification and BLS Certification are required.
- Proven experience in acute pain management and physical examinations is essential.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and pain management practices.
- Excellent patient service skills with a focus on compassionate care.
