Responsibilities
No two days are the same. Typical tasks include:
- Basic plumbing repairs (leaky faucets, toilet repairs, unclogging drains)
- Drywall patching and painting
- Lock changes and door hardware repairs
- Installing blinds, shelving, smoke detectors, and fixtures
- Appliance installation and minor appliance repairs
- Minor electrical work (switches, outlets, light fixtures)
- General property repairs and preventative maintenance
- Moving furniture and preparing units between tenants
- Inspecting properties and identifying maintenance concerns
- Picking up materials and maintaining an organized work vehicle
We're Looking For Someone Who:
- Has experience in general maintenance, handyman work, renovations, or property maintenance
- Is dependable and shows up on time
- Can work independently and manage their day efficiently
- Has strong problem-solving skills
- Communicates professionally with tenants and homeowners
- Takes pride in clean, quality work
- Has a valid G driver's licence and reliable transportation
- Can lift 50 lbs and perform physical work throughout the day
Assets (Not Required)
- Experience in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or carpentry
- Previous experience working in residential rental properties
- Own basic hand tools
