The successful candidate will design and implement culturally responsive research
methodologies, analyze qualitative and quantitative data, prepare evaluation reports,
and provide actionable recommendations to support continuous improvement. The
position works closely with internal teams, community partners, Elders, and external
service providers to ensure research practices are ethical, community-informed, and
aligned with Indigenous data sovereignty principles.
Qualifications
The successful candidate should have the following qualifications for this position:
- a degree and/or related experience in research, evaluation, social sciences,
Indigenous studies, education, health, or related field;
- a holder of a Credentialed Evaluator Designation is considered an asset;
- experience in trauma-informed research and evaluation;
- knowledge of Cree culture and community-based research approaches (or
commitment to learning);
- must provide a clear Criminal Record Check, including Vulnerable Sector Check;
and
- strong analytical, writing, facilitation, and collaboration skills.
