Responsibilities
- Perform automotive repairs, diagnostics, and maintenance using hand tools, power tools, and schematics.
- Assist with vehicle assembly, disassembly, and component replacement tasks efficiently and accurately.
- Conduct welding and other mechanical tasks as needed to repair or modify vehicle parts.
- Follow detailed repair procedures and interpret technical schematics to troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Use heavy lifting techniques safely to handle vehicle parts and equipment during repairs.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety standards at all times.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Valid licensed mechanic certification (Red Seal or equivalent) or current enrollment as an apprentice with at least two years of experience.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work comfortably with automotive components.
- Experience in automotive repair, maintenance, and assembly processes.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
- Knowledge of vehicle systems, including mechanical components and diagnostic procedures.

Pay: $20.44-$40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week

- Brooks, AB T1R 1B6: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Education:
- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (required)
Experience:
- Automotive Technician: 2 years (required)
Language:
- English , Read & Write (required)
Licence/Certification:
- Proof of Technician status; copy of test results (required)
