Q Test Inspection Ltd. is hiring a RT2 Technician for an immediate full-time opportunity based in Edmonton, AB.
This position offers guaranteed 40 hours per week, giving you the consistency and stability of full-time hours while working in a dynamic field environment. MT2 certification is considered a strong asset.
Responsibilities
- Performing radiographic testing (RT) in field environments
- Conducting magnetic particle testing (MT) as required
- Ensuring all inspections meet applicable codes, standards, and client specifications
- Completing detailed inspection reports and documentation
- Maintaining safety standards and following NDT procedures
- Traveling to various job sites across Northern Alberta
Experience
- Valid CGSB RT2 Certification (Required)
- Valid CGSB MT2 Certification (Preferred)
- Experience in pipeline, fabrication, or field inspection work preferred
- Ability to work consistent night shifts
- Must be local to Edmonton, AB
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Solid communication and reporting skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
