Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fabrication processes and the ability to read and interpret schematics. This role involves working with various materials and utilizing power tools to create high-quality products. The Fabricator will play a crucial role in ensuring that all components are assembled accurately and efficiently.
Duties
- Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to understand project specifications.
- Utilize power tools, including welding equipment, press brake machines, and cranes, to fabricate components.
- Assemble fabricated parts according to design specifications while ensuring quality standards are met.
- Perform welding tasks as required, ensuring strong and durable joints.
- Use calipers and other measuring tools to verify dimensions and tolerances of finished products.
- Conduct routine maintenance on fabrication equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance product quality.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in fabrication or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in reading schematics and technical drawings.
- Strong skills in using power tools, including welding equipment and press brake machines.
- Familiarity with basic math principles for accurate measurements and calculations.
- Ability to weld various materials effectively, ensuring structural integrity.
- Experience with cranes for material handling is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
