Partners in Education (PIE) Teachers
Regent Christian Academy Society serves children and families across our campus
schools, online school, and early learning programs. We focus on strong
academics, whole-child development, and a Christ-centred environment where
students grow in character and purpose. Our teams work hard, care deeply, and
move fast to support a growing and dynamic school community.
As a key division of the
Society, Regent Christian Online Academy (RCOA) specializes in
partnering with home-learning families to provide a flexible, high-quality K-12
education. We bring the RCAS mission to life as a Provincial Online Learning
School, offering innovative onsite and virtual programming across British
Columbia. At RCOA, we are dedicated to providing a personalized educational
journey that inspires lifelong learning and fosters spiritual growth in every
student.

Principal
Overview: Regent Christian Online Academy (RCOA) is a Provincial Online Learning
School dedicated to partnering with home-learning families. We provide a
flexible, high-quality K-12 education that inspires lifelong learning and
fosters spiritual growth.
As a PIE Teacher, you are the heart of our blended learning
model. You will lead onsite, hands-on learning days while providing the
framework for students to continue their educational journey at home. We are
looking for educators who "work hard, care deeply, and move fast" to
support our dynamic, Christ-centred community.
Key
Responsibilities:
Instructional Leadership: Plan and deliver engaging, hands-on lessons in Science, Social Studies,
Language Arts, Career Education, and ADST during onsite days.
Blended Learning Management: Design supplemental activities and project-based assignments for
students to complete at home under the guidance of their parents.
Collaborative Partnership: Work closely with home-learning families to provide a personalized
educational journey for every student.
Assessment & Feedback: Evaluate student progress through a project-based lens, ensuring
alignment with BC Provincial standards.
Team Integration: Actively participate in a collaborative team environment alongside
other teachers and support staff.

Compensation
& Benefits:
Pay: CA $ 30,000 - 50,000 annually,
Benefits: Extended Health
& Dental, Pension plan available upon eligibility.

Requirements
and Qualifications:
Certification: Valid certification from the B.C. Teachers Regulation Branch (BCTRB)
or the Office of the Inspector of Independent Schools (OIIS). (Note:
Non-certified individuals may apply for Assistant Teacher roles under
mentorship).
Faith Commitment: As a faith-based institution, this role has a Genuine Occupational
Requirement (GOR) for the employee to affirm RCAS’s Christian beliefs, agree
with the Statement of Faith, and actively participate in a Christian church
community.
Assets: Experience in online learning environments or project-based learning is
highly valued.
Travel: Participate in Professional Development 3-4 times per
year. Dates for the 2026-27 school year are: New Teacher Training (Virtual) - August 28, Orientation In Person (Mainland) - September 1, Orientation (Virtual) - September 2, Collaboration #1 (Virtual) - Elementary: November 12,
High School: November 18 (3:00 - 7:00 p.m.) and Collaboration #2 (Virtual or In-person) - Elementary:
February 17, High School: February 18 (3:00 - 7:00 p.m.)
