Job Title: Professors (Part-Time) - Community Justice and Police Foundations
Department: School of Community Justice and Police Foundations
Location: Commerce Court Campus – North Bay, ON
Contract Duration: September 8 – December 18, 2026 (14 weeks excluding Reading Week)

Qualifications:
- Undergraduate Degree in Criminology, Criminal Justice, or a related field and/or extensive experience in the area of municipal or provincial policing. Master’s Degree preferred.
- Demonstrated understanding of community justice and social service culture, programming and relevant legislation required
- Highly effective communication, presentation, and organizational skills
- Previous teaching, mentoring or training experience is an asset
- Must be available to teach course(s) during regular business hours
- Must be able to reliably commute to the Commerce Court Campus in North Bay, ON required
Responsibilities:
- Teach in the Police Foundations and/or Criminal Justice Program
- Work closely with students and colleagues to provide an optimal learning environment
- Perform all responsibilities associated with the learning environment including preparation, delivery, and evaluation of theory and practical learning activities
