Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Controller to lead our financial operations and ensure the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of our accounting processes. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of financial management, including accounting, reporting, budgeting, and internal controls. Duties
- Manage and oversee all accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities.
- Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with accounting standards.
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or similar platforms to streamline financial processes and maintain data integrity.
- Conduct detailed account reconciliations and perform thorough account analysis to identify discrepancies or areas for improvement.
- Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to support strategic decision-making.
- Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Lead audits by preparing documentation and collaborating with external auditors to facilitate smooth review processes.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a senior accounting or finance role, preferably as a Controller or equivalent leadership position.
- Strong proficiency with accounting software including QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, and other relevant platforms.
- Extensive knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and internal control procedures.
- Experience managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing, and account reconciliation tasks.
- Skilled in budgeting, financial analysis, and the use of accounting software for data management and reporting purposes.
- Excellent analytical skills with keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all financial activities.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
