PAINTER
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Painter to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in the painting industry with a strong preference for those with 4-5 years plus experience.
The senior painter will lead and coordinate painting projects, ensuring work is completed to the highest standards and that clients are satisfied with the final product.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate painting projects including planning and execution of painting jobs.
- Prepare surfaces for painting, including sanding, filling and priming.
- Apply paint or other finishes to surfaces using brushes, rollers and spray equipment.
- Ensure that work is completed to the highest standards and that the client is satisfied with the final product.
- Communicate with clients and Production Managers to understand their requirements and preferences.
- Maintain equipment and tools, ensuring that they are in good working condition.
- Ensure that health and safety regulations are adhered on all painting projects.
- Train and mentor junior painters on painting techniques and industry standards.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the painting industry, preferred 5 years plus.
- Excellent knowledge of painting techniques, materials and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a team setting.
- Willingness to lead and mentor junior painters.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints is preferred
- Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation preferred.
