Responsibilities
- Food Service Worker Certificate program from a recognized institute
- Spoken and written English communication skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Able to caringly interact with residents.
- Clear understanding of Food Services, therapeutic diet.
- Ability to work both at LTC & IDL dining room.
- Ability to perform all other Food Services Duties as assigned in Kitchen & Independent Living, Dishwashing & LTC Dining Room, Tearoom.
Requirements
- Experience in assisted living, nursing homes, hospitals, or the food industry is preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking, food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Strong customer service skills with a caring attitude towards residents or patients
- Ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Kitchen experience including cleaning and sanitation practices is desirable
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and adhere to safety protocols
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed; prior experience in serving or meal delivery is a plus

Pay: $17.60-$26.16 per hour
