Heavy Equipment Mechanic / Technician/ Journeyman Automotive Mechanic
Kinetec Mechanical is a small independent Heavy Equipment repair service provider in Drumheller Alberta.
We are looking for candidates that are interested in working on Gas Compression Engines, Compressors and Generators. Your role will primarily be repairing Gas Compression Equipment. There is opportunity to work on the following if so interested and would look like but not be limited to the following:
- Cummins engine overhaul and repair
- Waukesha Engine overhaul and repair
- Cat engine overhaul and repair
- Dozers, Scrapers, Backhoes, Excavators, Commercial Trucks, Generators, Oil Field Service rigs, Gas Compression, pump jacks to name a few.
- Oil field Maintenance - Pump jack repair, compressor overhaul- repair and maint. , Natural Gas Engine repair and diagnosis
If you have any of the following experience in repairing the following we invite you to apply.
- John Deere engine overhaul and repair
- Commercial Truck on/off highway repair and maintenance
- Heavy equipment repair and maintenance
- Cat, John Deere, Hitachi, Case IH, Champion, Terex Heavy equipment repair and service
Relocation assistance may be available to help with applicants that are not from Drumheller Alberta. Kinetec will also assist technician's that are from out of province by offering rotational work, reduced work week lengths or possibly rotational shifts. Overtime work is expected during heavy work load seasons to support customer demands.

On-Call Pay
Vacation 3 weeks paid per year, increases to 4 weeks after year 2. 5 weeks after 5 years.
5 Un-paid Days Off allowance per year
Company Truck will be supplied for Field Service Positions

Ability to commute/relocate:
- Alberta: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Experience:
- Heavy Equipment repair: 4 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Heavy Equipment Technician either on or off road ticket (required)
Willingness to travel:
Work Location: On the road
Pay: $50.00-$65.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
