Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble food items according to company standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling.
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service, taking orders and addressing customer inquiries.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, adhering to food safety regulations.
- Assist with food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures to ensure a safe dining environment.
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service delivery.
- Support team members in various kitchen and front-of-house tasks as needed to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm for learning is essential.
- Knowledge of food preparation, handling, and safety standards.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
- Ability to work well within a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to maintaining sanitation standards and food safety protocols.
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed; prior kitchen or restaurant experience is advantageous but not required.
Pay: $17.60-$18.00 per hour
