JOB DESCRIPTION
The Site Lead works on jobsites to assist the Project Manager execute and oversee the building process. They provide direction and oversight to the other employees onsite and ensure the project is executed according to the Project Plan laid out by the Project Management Team. The job includes physical carpentry work, meeting with clients and organizing and leading the site construction crew. The site lead plays a vital role in maintaining and continuing to grow a respectful and healthy workplace culture.
Responsibilities

- Provide leadership and direction to other employees on site while fostering a positive working environment where all employees can flourish.
- Ensure all materials, sub trades, labour and equipment needs are communicated to the Project Manager in a timely manner and inline with the Project Plan.
- Assist Production Manager in updating scope of work and changes to scope of work.
- Purchasing/ordering of materials coordinated with the Project Manager.
- Communicate with clients and subcontractors professionally and politely. Ensure all subcontractors and employees communicate professionally and politely with clients. Report issues to the Project Manager.
- On a job to job basis, establish boundaries for client communication with Production Manager.
- Maintain and update accurate time tracking data in the company’s payroll software
- Jobsite Reporting
- Report directly to the Production Manager
- Any changes to project scope
- Updates on schedule
- Update CRM and CMS on a daily basis.
- Lead weekly ‘tool box talks’ on site with the Lead Hand and other employees; Ensure all employees and sub trades are following safety procedures.
- Facilitate a positive jobsite team environment and support healthy employee relations with adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Report any injury or accident occurring on a work site to Management.
- Report any incident involving damage to the company or client’s assets
Pay: From $36.00 per hour
