Keyano College’s Bookstore Department is currently seeking a Student Assistant – Campus Service Clerk to join their dynamic team. The incumbent will assist with routine daily activities, provide backup coverage to Retail Operations Assistants and customer service leadership to the Bookstore. The term for this position is August 2026 – December 2026.
Note: this is not a remote or hybrid work opportunity, you will be required to work on campus and relocate to Fort McMurray, AB.

Duties and responsibilities would include but not limited to:
- Help customers with purchases and operate the cash register.
- Act as a liaison between internal customers and the Bookstore.
- Assist with returning and receiving books, impulse items, food, and other items.
- Data entry for all items as well as physical placement on shelves with the Bookstore.
- Appropriate placement of merchandise and create special displays for specific items (e.g. seasonal displays)
- Must be a currently registered full time credit student at Keyano College.
- Strong multitasking and organizational skills.
- Must be client-focused, thorough, detailed, and results-oriented as well as exhibit professionalism and sound judgment.
- Excellent communications skills, a commitment to working in a team environment, and a strong working knowledge of various software tools (Microsoft Office Suite).
- Highly dependable and punctual.
- Candidates with previous retail experience will be given preference.
CUPE Student $17.40 per hour.
