Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Boiler Technician to join our residential and light commercial service and installation team. This role involves maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing mid efficiency, high efficiency, and steam boiler systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical, electrical, and technical skills, with experience in residential boiler systems and customer service. The Boiler Technician will play a critical role in ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable boiler operations to support our customer base.
Duties
- Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on boiler systems to ensure optimal operation and safety.
- Troubleshoot issues, control systems, and analysis skills to identify root causes of equipment failures
- Removal of existing boiler systems along with repiping and installation of new high efficiency equipment, including system start up
- Collaborate with other maintenance team members and provide excellent customer service by addressing operational concerns promptly
Requirements
- Proven experience in boiler installation and maintenance
- B Gasfitter License
- Familiarity with common boiler issues and remedies
- Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and mechanical drawings accurately
- Excellent communication skills in English for effective documentation and teamwork
- Customer service orientation with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
