Airworks Insulation Inc. is currently recruiting an Air Duct Insulator to join our team in Vancouver/ Surrey / Lower Mainland, BC.
- Insulators working exclusively with ductwork insulation (FSK, rigid board, firewrap - we do not do any pipe or frost insulation. Air duct only)
- Long term employment – permanent FT
- 5x8s schedule
- Preference will be given to local candidates
- Work based in Vancouver and the Lower Mainland
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Apply, remove and repair thermal insulation on air ducting systems.
- Work from ladders and lifts
- Read and interpret drawings and specifications to determine install requirements.
- Select the amount and type of insulation to be installed as well as a method of securing the insulation
- Measure and cut insulating material and coverings to the required shape and dimension, as well as fitting insulation around obstructions or shape insulation materials and protective coverings
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience installing FSK, rigid board insulation and firewrap
- Ability to read and understand prints and insulation specifications
- Reliable transportation is required
- Lift ticket an asset, but not required
- Fall arrest an asset, but not required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00-$42.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
