Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled AZ Truck Drivers to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all safety regulations. This role requires a strong commitment to maintaining vehicle performance and providing excellent customer service.
Lane: Toronto-Montreal corridor/Local City Work
Responsibilities
- Operate and drive heavy trucks to transport freight to designated locations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe operating condition.
- Proper handling and securing of freight.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of driving hours, mileage, and fuel consumption.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Perform basic truck repair and maintenance on the truck as needed.
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver's license (AZ) with a clean driving record.
- Min. one year experience in commercial driving.
- Ability to perform basic automotive repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
- Physical stamina to handle long hours on the road.
