Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Commercial Estimator / Project Manager who specializes in aluminum windows, doors, storefront, curtain wall, and glazing systems. This dual role involves preparing accurate estimates and managing projects from bid through successful completion. You will work primarily with Kawneer systems and use Google Workspace tools daily.
Duties
Estimating
- Review architectural drawings, specifications, elevations, and addenda
- Perform detailed material take-offs for Kawneer aluminum systems, storefront, curtain wall, entrances, doors, and insulated glass units
- Calculate material, labor, fabrication, and installation costs
- Obtain supplier pricing and prepare competitive proposals
- Identify scope gaps, risks, and value-engineering opportunities
Project Management
- Manage projects from award through closeout
- Coordinate shop drawings, submittals, and approvals
- Order materials and track lead times
- Schedule fabrication and installation crews
- Coordinate with general contractors, architects, suppliers, and field teams
- Monitor budgets, process change orders, and control project costs
- Maintain clear documentation and communication using Google Workspace
Experience
- 3+ years of experience in commercial glazing / aluminum systems estimating and project management
- Strong knowledge of Kawneer aluminum framing systems (or equivalent)
- Ability to accurately read architectural and shop drawings
- Experience performing material take-offs and preparing detailed estimates
- Comfortable working daily in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Gmail, Calendar)
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to visit job sites as needed

Pay: $56,770.66-$126,015.90 per year
