Wynn's Property Maintenance is now accepting resumes for the upcoming winter season to join our snow removal team looking after commercial and residential properties within Durham region. Join our team to help keep our neighbourhood safe and clear of winter hazards this year!
Key Responsibilities:
- Manually shovel snow and ice from sidewalks, driveways, parking lots, and other designated areas.
- Apply salt, sand, or ice melt as needed to prevent ice accumulation.
- Ensure all walkways and surfaces are clear and safe for pedestrians and vehicles.
- Assist in maintaining and organizing snow removal equipment.
- Work efficiently and safely in varying weather conditions, including snow, ice, and freezing temperatures.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures to minimize the risk of injury or accidents.
- Communicate with supervisors and team members regarding snow removal progress and any issues encountered using Google Sheets to track timing and materials used (training can be provided if unfamiliar with Google Sheets).
- Be on-call and ready to work early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and during snowstorms and ice events.
We prefer an applicant with prior experience in snow shovelling, however experience is not a deal breaker. We are looking for someone who understands that they must work in less than ideal work conditions in order to make their area safe for upcoming foot traffic. We are looking for someone who is willing to work in the cold to get the job done.
We require reliable means of transportation to work and reliable means of communication to be on call throughout the season. Driver Abstracts will be requested upon hiring. Any training on equipment required to use will be provided prior to season starting.
This position is for winter months between November 1st to April 15th with possible opportunities for summer work as well as we are a year round maintenance company.

Pay is hourly ($18-22/hr) Compensation based on previous experience, position and negotiated at job offer.
