Job Summary
Hartt Island Campground & RV Resort is looking for a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Gatekeeper / Pool Attendant to join our team for the season.
The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring access to the pool and waterpark area, ensuring all guests have valid admission, and helping provide a safe and enjoyable experience for visitors.
Duties
- Check wristbands, passes, and admissions for guests entering the pool and waterpark areas
- Ensure all visitors have paid and are authorized to enter
- Monitor entry and exit points throughout the day
- Politely answer guest questions and provide directions when needed
- Report any concerns, incidents, or rule violations to management
- Help maintain a clean and organized pool entrance area
- Enforce facility rules in a professional and respectful manner
- Assist with general guest service duties as required
Experience
- Prior experience in swimming or water-related activities is preferred but not required; candidates should be comfortable in aquatic environments
- Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely, including moving equipment or assisting guests as needed
- Strong communication skills and a customer service-oriented attitude are essential
- Previous experience working with children or in a recreational setting is a plus but not mandatory
- Candidates should be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions and stand for extended periods during shifts
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
