Position Overview
RC Construction is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Kitchen & Bathroom Fitter to join our team. This position is responsible for the installation and finishing of kitchens, bathrooms, and other interior renovation projects. The ideal candidate has experience with cabinetry, trim work, fixture installation, and residential renovations, with a strong focus on quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Install kitchen cabinets, vanities, countertops, and millwork
- Complete bathroom fixture installations, including vanities, accessories, and finishing
- Perform trim, finishing, and carpentry work related to renovations
- Read and interpret plans, drawings, and specifications
- Ensure installations are level, plumb, and completed to a high standard
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and other trades as required
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Identify and resolve installation challenges on-site
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Provide professional and courteous service to clients
Qualifications
- Experience in kitchen, bathroom, or residential renovation installations
- Strong carpentry and finishing skills
- Experience installing cabinetry, trim, doors, and millwork
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Valid drivers liscense
Preferred Qualifications
- Journeyman Carpenter certification or equivalent experience
- Experience with cabinet modifications and custom installations
- Knowledge of plumbing and electrical rough-ins as they relate to fixture installation
- Experience working in occupied residential homes
Pay: $23.00-$28.00 per hour
