A qualified Part-Time Academic is needed to teach the following course from Sep 8th to Dec 9th, 2026. Class is delivered in-person during the Fall semester on Mondays from 11:30 am to 2:30 pm (approximately).
This course provides a survey treatment of international businesses that will benefit MBA students and build a foundation for those proposing future study in this area. For students not going on in the field, it provides the tools needed to manage the interdependence between domestic and international markets.
The course orientation is consistently pragmatic and managerial. Using the combination of different learning methods such as case method, lecture series, guest speakers, and in-class activities, students are placed in simulated managerial roles where they can apply international business principles in characteristically management situations.
This course is delivered to our full-time MBA Corporate Residency students. The MBA Corporate Residency is a career launching program and most of students in the class are in their 2nd year (final year) of their program. This is a position with a strong emphasis on high-quality teaching, excellent communication and dedication to student success.
The Part-Time academic will be responsible for all aspects of teaching and administering the class, including lectures, test preparation and evaluation. The part-time academic should be available for class lectures and two hours per week for consultation with students. Additional meetings with the team of faculty teaching MBA courses may be required (approximately 1 hours / month). The part-time academic reports to Dr. Hamed Aghakhani, the MBA Program Director.
