We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Civil Lawyer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will handle civil law cases, conduct thorough legal research, draft essential documents, and negotiate effectively on behalf of clients. Your expertise will contribute to delivering exceptional legal support and achieving favorable outcomes for those we serve.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive legal research using tools such as LexisNexis to support case preparation
- Draft legal documents including pleadings, contracts, and correspondence with clarity and precision
- Negotiate settlements and agreements with opposing parties to resolve civil disputes efficiently
- Review case files, evidence, and relevant laws to develop strategic legal approaches
- Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and negotiations with confidence and professionalism
- Maintain detailed case records, logs, and documentation to ensure compliance and accuracy
- Stay updated on changes in civil law legislation and best practices to provide current advice
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Civil Lawyer or in a similar legal role with a focus on civil law cases
- Strong research skills with proficiency in LexisNexis or similar legal research platforms
- Excellent writing skills for drafting clear, persuasive legal documents
- Demonstrated negotiation abilities to advocate effectively for clients’ interests
- Solid understanding of civil law procedures, regulations, and court processes
- Ability to analyze complex information and develop strategic solutions
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB or JD) from an accredited institution; valid license to practice law

Pay: $59,285.73-$174,288.60 per year
