We're growing and looking for another barber or hairstylist who enjoys their craft and wants to be part of a team that values quality over rushing people through the chair.
We're hiring for both our Red Deer and Lacombe locations.
The Role
We're looking for both experienced barbers and hairstylists, as well as apprentices who are serious about building a career in the industry.
You'll spend your day working directly with clients, providing quality haircuts and grooming services while helping create the welcoming atmosphere our customers have come to expect.
Services may include:
- Men's haircuts
- Women's haircuts
- Kids' haircuts
- Skin fades
- Beard trims
- Straight razor shaves
- Hair colouring
- Retail product recommendations
- Keeping your station clean and organized
- Opening and closing duties as required
A Typical Day
You'll start by getting your station ready before your first appointment or walk-in arrives.
Throughout the day you'll be cutting hair, consulting with clients, recommending products when appropriate, and working alongside a team that enjoys what they do.
Like any barbershop, some days are busier than others. Saturdays are usually our busiest day, while slower periods give you time to sharpen your skills, connect with teammates, and keep your workspace looking professional.
At the end of the day, you'll clean your station, help leave the shop ready for tomorrow, and head home knowing you've helped people leave feeling more confident than when they arrived.
What We're Looking ForRequired
- Licensed Barber or Hairstylist, or currently registered as an Apprentice
- Strong customer service skills
- Professional appearance
- Reliable and punctual
- A positive attitude
- Pride in your work
Preferred
- Experience with fades and modern men's styles
- Straight razor experience
- Colouring experience
- Product knowledge and retail sales experience
