Our Vaughan client is seeking an experienced warehouse associate to work as a Quality - Order Checker for outgoing shipments. Located near Steeles Ave. & Weston Road.
CANDIDATES MUST HAVE COUNTERBALANCE, REACH & ORDER PICKER FORKLIFT LICENSES.
Shift times:
- Mon–Thu 1PM – 10PM
- Fri 9AM – 6PM
- alternating Saturdays 6AM — 3PM
Pay: Up to $24.00 per hour; temp to perm
Duties:
- Matching picked product against the customer purchase order.
- Ensure products are packaged correctly to avoid loss or damage.
- Attach all necessary paperwork, ie. copy of order, shipping documents, etc.
- Stage order for shipment.
- Manually pick and package small items as needed.
Requirements:
- Minimum THREE years continuous warehouse experience REQUIRED
- Valid Counterbalance, Reach and Order Picker forklift licenses
- Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs. as required
- Detail oriented with excellent problem solving skills
- Able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent English communication skills, verbal and written.
- Effective time management skills.
- Clear criminal background.
- CSA approved, steel toed safety boots; safety vest.
