Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Pool Technician/Labour to join our team. This role involves maintaining and servicing swimming pools, ensuring safety and cleanliness, and supporting various landscaping and construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, good customer service and mechanical aptitude. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in pool maintenance, construction, and landscape care within a dynamic environment.
Duties
- Assist with installation, repair, and maintenance of pool equipment such as pumps, filters, salt system and heaters
- Assist with installation of pools and pool liners
- Perform routine pool cleaning, chemical balancing, and water quality testing to ensure safe swimming conditions
- Use hand tools and power tools for construction-related tasks
- Assist with general site cleanup and preparation for ongoing projects
- Follow safety protocols during all operations to ensure a secure work environment
- A variety of task and duties will be assigned accordingly
Requirements
- Mechanical knowledge related to pool equipment is desirable
- Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Experience in construction/landscaping or general labour work is a plus
- Strong physical stamina to perform manual tasks including lifting approximately 50lbs and operating machinery
- Work well as a team player and motivated to work
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Valid driver’s license is preferred
- Fluently bilingual is a plus
