About This Engagement
Aquastar Swim Lessons Ltd. is dispatching 4 certified waterfront lifeguards for a Grade 8 end-of-year barbecue event at Cultus Lake in Chilliwack. This is an outdoor, open water engagement. Waterfront NLS certification is required for this specific posting.

What You Will Do
Provide on-site waterfront lifeguard coverage at Cultus Lake for a school end-of-year event. Monitor swimmers and enforce water safety rules throughout the engagement. Conduct a pre-engagement safety inspection of the swim area. Administer first aid and CPR if required and coordinate emergency response. Communicate directly with the client and Aquastar dispatch on-site.
What We Are Looking For
Waterfront NLS certification is required for this event. Valid CPR-C and Standard First Aid certification. Reliable transportation to Cultus Lake, Chilliwack. Professional communication and composure on-site.
Preferred but not required: NLS pool certification or Bronze Cross. Previous experience at outdoor, lake, or open water events.
Engagement Terms
Independent contractor arrangement. No employment relationship is created. Pay is $35 to $60 per hour based on certification and experience. Travel is covered for qualifying distances. This is a single-event engagement, not an ongoing position.
