As an information and documentation professional, you ensure the implementation of the documentation policy for all engineering projects. Your role is critical as it ensures the availability of a complete and validated version of the documentation that ensures project delivery for our customers. Your expertise will also be used for information and documentation management projects for Laurentide.
What you bring to the table
You facilitate project execution by understanding the client’s documentation approval process, identifying which documents are required prior to production and/or shipping and organizing/managing the document submittal process.
You are responsible for the quality of the documents transmitted and their compliance with the documentary standards defined by the project team.
You will be a key player in project-driven cadence meetings to inform and update the project team and the client on the status of documentation while identifying any potential delays or concerns.
Essential skills and qualifications to be successful
Minimum 3 years’ experience in project or documentation management environment.
DEC in documentation technology or university certificate in document and archive management, an asset.
Bilingualism written and spoken (English and French).
Adept at learning and adapting to new technologies.
