Job Summary:
We're looking for a dynamic, customer-oriented professional who enjoys building relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering exceptional customer service. This role combines account management with business development, giving you the opportunity to grow an established territory while expanding our presence with new customers.
The successful candidate will be self-motivated, organized, and comfortable spending the majority of their time meeting customers on-site, visiting contractors, and supporting projects from quotation through to order fulfillment.
Duties
- Develop new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing customers through regular in-person visits.
- Generate and follow up on quotations for roofing and building materials.
- Provide product recommendations and technical support to contractors, builders, and distributors.
- Work closely with internal customer service and operations teams to ensure accurate order processing and timely delivery.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
- Meet and exceed territory sales targets and performance objectives.
- Maintain accurate customer records and sales activity.
Qualifications:
- Previous face to face customer experience (building materials, construction, or industrial products is considered an asset).
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-starter with excellent time management and organizational abilities.
- Results-driven with the ability to work independently.
- Comfortable conducting daily customer visits throughout the Eastern GTA.
- Valid G driver's licence with a clean driving record.
Compensation will be determined based on the successful candidate’s experience, skills, and qualifications, and may also be influenced by internal equity and market conditions.
