Budtenders are the heart of our operation. They are the first point of contact for customers and a source of knowledge for many. Budtenders are responsible for providing customers with product knowledge and customer support while maintaining a clean and comfortable store environment. This includes, assisting the management team with the activities and operations of the store while abiding by all policies, procedures, and operational guidelines.
Budtenders will also be provided with ample opportunity to expand their own connoisseur skills on a regular basis through Seed & Stone in-house & external trainings. Position Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service
- Guide and direct customer in their cannabis purchasing journey
- Answer customer questions and concerns
- Meet and exceed sales goals
- Ensure compliance in all transactions
- Providing education to customers on products and accessories available at store
- Knowledge of basic computer functions
- Knowledge of POS systems
- Unpack, sort, count and label merchandise as directed
- Execute daily tasks and merchandising needs while ensuring customer priority
- Maintain store cleanliness, performing tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and organizing display
- Taking inventory and assisting in inventory related tasks as directed by Inventory manager
- Building a loyal customer base
- Using sales cycle to offer consistent customer experience
- Occasional/regular delivery driving, using company vehicle as required
- Cash handling and other duties as directed
Qualifications & Requirements
- In-depth knowledge of cannabis products, strains, and consumption methods (preferred)
- Impeccable customer service
- One (1) year customer service experience
- One (1) year retail sales experience
- Must be able to lift up to 25lbs
- Current Selling It Right certification
- Valid Class 5 Drivers License is an asset
