Job Overview
Our Servers are responsible for providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced dining environment. This includes creating a guest experience when taking food and drink orders, food running and Craft Beer and Cocktail knowledge ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining a clean and organized dining area. The ideal candidate is personable, detail-oriented, and enjoys working as part of a team to deliver a great dining experience.
Duties
- Engage with customers, providing recommendations and answering questions about food and drink offerings.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Adhere to food safety and handling regulations to ensure the health and safety of all patrons.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders when applicable.
- Assist in training new servers as needed, sharing knowledge of best practices in bartending and customer service.
Qualifications
- 3-4 years minimum previous experience in serving or food service
- TIPS Academy is recognized. (Not manditory)
- Strong understanding of food safety practices within the restaurant or food industry.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and experience using POS systems is advantageous.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude towards customers and colleagues.
- Strong communication skills, with an emphasis on helping customers feel valued and appreciated.
- Must be of legal drinking age as per local regulations and have your up to date "Serving it Right"
