Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Food Service Worker to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional guest experiences. This role involves preparing and serving food and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety. Ideal candidates will have a passion for food service, excellent customer service skills, and experience in the food industry. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and safety standards
- Manage guest orders efficiently with effective time management skills
- Provide friendly and attentive customer service to ensure a positive dining experience
- Handle food safely, adhering to sanitation and food safety protocols
- Assist in food preparation and kitchen duties as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including dining spaces and kitchen stations
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Support guest services by addressing questions or concerns promptly and professionally
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly desirable
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods
- Familiarity with food handling, sanitation, and safety standards in the food industry
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Kitchen experience or hospitality background is advantageous
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed; prior restaurant or food industry experience preferred
