Extrusion Set-Up & Operator
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused Extrusion Set-Up & Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating Extrusions machines to ensure efficient production and quality output. Candidates with experience in plastics manufacturing are encouraged to apply; extrusion-specific expertise and broader knowledge of plastic materials are considered strong assets.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up plastic extrusion machines, including die changes and equipment preparation
- Monitor production processes, troubleshoot issues, and perform minor equipment adjustments as needed
- Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met
- Handle materials and package finished parts to production requirements
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Employment Details
- Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time Day-shift
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, Monday to Thursday (6:45am to 6:45pm)
- You will always have long weekends!!
- Compensation: Competitive starting wage, based on experience
- Start Date: Immediate availability preferred
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in plastic extrusion set-up
- Experience in a plastics manufacturing environment required
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety
