Permanent Brake Press Operator Role Mississauga Day Shift Great Pay $28/hr-$31/hr Benefits RSP Matching Training Programs Responsibilities: •Set up and Operate Brake Presses (Cincinnati) with minimal supervision •Thorough knowledge of reading and interpreting engineering drawings. •Interpret layout on drawing attached on Work Order , input correct measurement inputs in CNC equipment. •Ability to operate CNC computer and input all required measurement and coordinates. •Forklift licence, forklift operation for material handling.
- Fluent with Metric and Imperial measurements with ability to quickly convert from one to the other. •Working knowledge of English language to interpret instructions on drawings and Work Orders. •Organizational skills, work as team member. •Work with various materials, Aluminum, Stainless, Bronze, Manganese and Hot Rolled steel up to 3/4” in thickness.
- Knowledge of tooling and minor repairs •Ensure all safety light curtains are in working condition before attempting to form any parts. Select appropriate tooling for the job and inspect for any defects prior to changeover on equipment. •Ability to work in fast paced environment and make changes to schedules when necessary. Requirements: •Minimum of 3 years’ experience with setup and operation of brake press (Cincinnati press experience an asset) •Strong knowledge of setting up and operating the machines •Experience reading blueprints and drawings •Able to read measurements Please present your resume today!
