Callia Cleaning Services is an experienced residential cleaning company in Calgary [local]. We are currently seeking a reliable, organized, and professional Morning Driver & Operations Assistant to join our team to support our daily operations.We provide a fully insured company vehicle and cover 100% of the fuel costs!The Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM (3 hours standard per day, sometimes starting at 8:00 AM depending on the day's client route).
- Weekends Off
Compensation & Pay Scale:
This role utilizes a specialized two-tier pay scale based on daily tasks:
- Driving & Basic Errands ($15.00/hour): Transporting our cleaning staff safely to morning houses, filling the car with gas, or grabbing supplies. No heavy lifting or cleaning is required on these standard days.
- Physical Labor & On-Call Cleaning ($18.00/hour): On days when you assist with heavy laundry drop-offs, or step in as a backup cleaner because a regular staff member is sick.
Core Responsibilities:
- Pick up the company vehicle in SW Calgary (Ideally located near Westbrook Station).
- Drive our cleaning staff safely to their morning residential client rotations (SW, NW, and Downtown Calgary) [local].
- Keep the company vehicle clean and fueled up using company funds.
- Run business errands such as shopping for cleaning supplies or taking laundry bags of reusable cloths to facilities when requested.
- Act as an on-call backup cleaner for the team when regular staff is sick ($18/hr rate applies).
- Handle other miscellaneous business errands and operational tasks as required (not limited strictly to the items mentioned above).
Requirements:
- Must be 25+ years old (strictly required for our commercial vehicle insurance guidelines).
- Must hold a clean Alberta Class 5 Driver’s License (Abstract will be requested) [local].
- Must be highly reliable, punctual, organized, and possess a warm, professional attitude.
