We are seeking a friendly and professional Host/Hostess to join our hospitality team. Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage waitlists efficiently
- Escort guests to their tables and provide menus
- Handle reservations and manage seating arrangements using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Maintain a clean and organized host stand area
- Answer phone calls with professional phone etiquette and assist with reservation inquiries
- Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely seating and service
- Assist in maintaining a welcoming environment that reflects excellent hospitality standards
- Support guest needs throughout their visit, including providing information about the menu or restaurant policies
Qualifications
- Previous experience in guest services, serving, or hospitality preferred
- Strong communication skills and friendly demeanor
- Knowledge of food service operations and POS systems like Micros POS is a plus
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Professional phone etiquette and clear communication abilities
- Experience in restaurant or hotel settings is advantageous but not required
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
