Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced General Manager to oversee our operations in the food industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in team management, customer service, and food handling. As the General Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth daily operations, maintaining high standards of food quality, and delivering exceptional service to our customers. This role requires a hands-on approach and the ability to lead by example in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of the establishment, ensuring all aspects run smoothly
- Supervise and train staff, fostering a positive team environment and promoting professional development.
- Handle cash management responsibilities, including cash handling and POS transactions.
- Ensure excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers for timely replenishment of stock.
- Conduct regular inspections of kitchen and dining areas to ensure cleanliness and compliance with health regulations.
Requirements
- Proven experience in the food industry, preferably in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations.
- Experience with cash handling processes and POS systems.
- Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate staff effectively.
- Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills.
- Bartending experience is a plus but not required.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- A passion for food preparation and delivering high-quality dining experiences.
