The incumbent will work with the Events team as part of the Development and Alumni Engagement unit within University Relations, and will be responsible for providing logistical support for events relating to AU’s Beyond 50 celebration and a re-imagined virtual Convocation ceremony to be held on October 2, 2020. The position will assist with the coordination and execution of successful events at Athabasca University until October 15, 2020

Grade XII education supplemented with 1 – 2 years of experience in an office environment.
Event Coordinator certification and bilingualism are assets.
Superior communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational abilities.
Advanced working knowledge of data entry and retrieval operations in a computerized information system.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and to set priorities.
