We are seeking a talented Content Writer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating engaging content and a strong understanding of marketing strategies both in print and digital.
Responsibilities
- Create high-quality and engaging written content for various platforms including websites, blogs, social media, and printed marketing materials
- Conduct thorough research on industry-related topics to develop original content
- Optimize content for SEO best practices to increase organic traffic
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop content strategies that align with business goals
- Edit and proofread content to ensure it meets brand standards and guidelines
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Content Writer or similar role with 5 years or more experience
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing
- Excellent writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail
- Knowledge of software systems such as iOS, MS Office, Adobe Creative Suite, HTML, SketchUp, Atlassian Jira, Figma, Keynote, InDesign, AutoCAD.
- Familiarity with SEO principles and best practices
- Proficiency in Google tools and analytics
- Understanding of digital marketing concepts
- Must be able to work remotely as well as commute to our Calgary office monthly
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: $17.00-$28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 per week
