Job Profile: Analyst, Operational Planning
Reports to: Sr. Manager, Labour Insights & Innovation
Under the leadership of the Sr. Manager, Labour Insights & Innovation, the Analyst, Operational Planning provides analytical support to the team by compiling, reviewing and analyzing internal data and assisting in the development of reporting tools and dashboards. They will collaborate with different teams in Central Operations regularly in order to help the business make daily decisions related to Labour, Sales, Shrink, PI management, Availability and Process improvement.
Analysis & Reporting
Extract, review and prepare data for analysis and reporting
Develop efficient reporting and analytical tools to enable process efficiencies
Special projects and ad-hoc reporting as required
Run weekly KPI reporting and conduct analysis to assist Operations teams in monitoring of results
Work with the Central Operations team to support ongoing projects
Collect and consolidate ad hoc data required for projects
Other duties as projects evolve
Bachelor degree or greater (e.g. Mathematics, Business, Accounting, Computer Science or similar);
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Enthusiastic team player with self-discipline and motivation to work independently
Strong organizational, multitasking, planning and strategic skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to thrive in a fast paced, challenging, and constantly changing work environment
Strong analytical skills with Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills (experience with VBA/macros preferred)
Previous experience in retail operations, merchandising, Finance or IT would be considered an asset
Strong detail orientation is essential in this role
