Home Health Care Aide
Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Care Aides to provide high-quality in-home care to clients of all ages. The ideal candidate will assist with daily living activities, promote independence, and ensure the safety and well-being of individuals requiring support due to age, disability, or illness. Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
- Provide medication reminders and assist with medication administration as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment.
- Support clients with mobility and transfer assistance, including heavy lifting when necessary.
- Engage clients in social activities and companionship to promote mental well-being.
- Monitor health status and report any changes or concerns to family members or healthcare providers.
- Follow care plans accurately and document services provided during each visit.
- Assist with specialized care needs such as dementia care, hospice support, or working with individuals with disabilities.
Requirements
- Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, hospice care, or home care is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of patient care techniques, senior care, dementia care, and working with individuals with disabilities.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks safely.
- Strong caregiving skills with compassion, patience, and excellent communication abilities.
- Certification or training in medication administration is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
- Ability to work independently while following established care plans.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license are preferred for travel between client locations.
- Must pass background checks and adhere to all safety protocols and confidentiality standards.

Pay: $15.93-$18.00 per hour
Licence/Certification:
- Class 5 Drivers License (preferred)
