We are seeking a reliable, experienced, and motivated HVAC technician to join our team and perform residential HVAC installations, maintenance, and repair. We're looking for a self-motivated technician who takes pride in quality workmanship and delivering exceptional customer service.
What You'll Do
- Install, diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential HVAC systems
- Perform preventative maintenance on furnaces and air conditioners to ensure efficient operation
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals for installations and repairs
- Conduct plumbing and welding tasks as needed for system upgrades or repairs
- Accurately diagnose mechanical issues using specialized tools and techniques
- Repair or replace faulty components such as compressors, fans, thermostats, and valves
- Maintain detailed records of service activities and parts used
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes
- Perform other duties as assigned by the lead technician or supervisor
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
- Work on various projects, ensuring all systems operate efficiently and effectively
Required Qualifications
✔ Minimum 5 years of experience as an HVAC Technician or Mechanic with a strong background in residential HVAC systems
✔ Experience performing both residential service and installation work
✔ Valid Gas Fitter Licence (G2)
✔ Valid 313D Air Conditioning Licence
✔ Valid Ozone Depletion Licence
✔ Valid driver's licence with a clean driver's abstract
✔ Mechanical knowledge related to HVAC systems and general maintenance procedures
✔ Experience using a variety of HVAC tools and diagnostic equipment
✔ Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams accurately
✔ Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail and customer service
✔ Excellent communication skills with customers, team members, and supervisors
✔ Ability to work independently or as part of a team in diverse environments
✔ Ability to lift and safely handle equipment up to 50 lbs
Schedule
- Part-Time
- 20–30 hours per week
- Some flexibility may be required based on customer demand
Compensation & Benefits
- CA$25.00–CA$30.00 per hour, based on experience
