Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our team. This position requires a strong understanding of millwork manufacturing processes and materials, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
Duties
- Screen new opportunities for ones which match our schedule, production capacity and competitive niche.
- Analyze drawings, specifications, project schedule and other documentation to gain a complete understanding of the scope of work.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates using Takeoff estimating software, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Utilize Takeoff estimating software to create precise project bids.
- Collaborate with project managers to develop project bids.
- Review and adjust estimates based on changes in project scope or design.
- Maintain organized records of estimates, bids and correspondence related to each project.
Skills
- Proficiency in construction estimating techniques and methodologies.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with Takeoff millwork estimating software is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in cost analysis.
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with clients, contractors, and team members.

Pay: $41,875.06-$107,332.71 per year
