Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases in a courteous manner
- Operate POS systems efficiently to process transactions, returns, and exchanges
- Handle cash, credit card payments, and perform accurate cash handling procedures
- Answer customer inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and clarity
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure smooth checkout processes
- Promote store promotions, loyalty programs, and new products to customers
- Assist with inventory management tasks as needed to keep the sales floor well-stocked
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills
- Previous experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for accurate transactions
- Basic math skills for handling cash and calculating totals
- Knowledge of POS systems, cashiering procedures, and retail merchandising is advantageous
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work varied shifts as needed; punctuality is essential
- Must be able to work all weekends and evenings
- Ability to work well within a team and independently when required
Pay: $18.50-$20.00 per hour
