Join our dynamic team as a Quality Control/Quality Assurance (QC/QA) Manager and lead the charge in maintaining the highest standards of product quality and safety. Responsibilities
- Sample, test and release packaging components including label, raw materials, in-process materials and finished products before use in the production
- Evaluate and re-test reworking or reprocessing in-process materials and finished products if applicable
- In-line quality control tests and checks, i.e. weight, package, label, code, shipping configuration, etc.
- Control and supervise on-site during drug production for each working shift
- Maintain QC laboratory and testing instruments including:
- Calibrate QC laboratory and testing instruments
- Purchasing QC laboratory supplies and testing instruments in a cost-effective manner
- Ensure all processes adhere to client/regulatory standards
- Administer and conduct audit for areas other than QC/QA department
- Administer the control status system on packaging materials, raw materials, in-process and finished products, i.e. Hold, Accept, and Reject
- Prepare Certificate of Analysis, Certificate of Conformance, and subcontracting laboratory service agreement
- Handle and investigate customer complaints and out of specification matters
- Provide support in product recalls and handling of returned products
- Maintain documents and records for Quality control and assurance department
- Liaise with R&D, Production, Purchasing, Shipping, Receiving, Subcontractors including subcontracting laboratories and suppliers, and Clients.
- Ensure shipments meet client/regulatory standards
- Provide assistance to Research and Development in testing and maintaining records
- Verify all manufacturing schedules
- Examine and sign all purchase orders for manufacturing components
- Monitor, support and oversee subordinates’ job duties
- Approve all quality and GMP documentation
- Train staff on quality control techniques, inspection standards, and safety procedures to foster a culture of accountability and continuous learning.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in manufacturing environments with a strong understanding of quality control and assurance principles.
- Completion of Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent
- Minimum of five years of experience in a laboratory and manufacturing environment
- Good knowledge of manufacturing
- Strong analytical and problem solving and attention to detail skills
- Strong prioritizing and attention to detail skills
- Good organizational and leadership skills
- Good oral and written skills
- Computer literate

Pay: $55,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
