Responsibilities:
Provide exceptional care in accordance with best practices, policies, and procedures
Assess patients, administer appropriate treatments, and monitor their progress
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely
Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
Demonstrate professionalism, compassion, and empathy towards patients and their families
Requirements:
Valid Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in Canada
oAbility to obtain a Newfoundland nurse license before the start of the assignment
Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in your given specialty
o2 years of emergency room experience with airway training and rhythm interpretation
Active certifications in TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course), CTAS (Canadian Triage and Acuity Scale), PALS
(Pediatric Advanced Life Support), and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support for Healthcare Providers),
ATLS, FHS (Fetal Health Surveillance), BLS (Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers), CPR (Level C
certification for Healthcare Providers)
Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills in emergency situations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare
team
Up-to-date immunization records
Flexibility to work various shifts and adapt to changing work environments
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 1 month
Pay: $110.00-$130.00 per hour
